Google is planning to acquire Whatsapp

Google is planning to acquire the instant messaging service WhatsApp totaling 1,000 million dollars (770 million euros), according to a source with guaranteed operation at Digital Trends.
Thus, the most famous Internet search engine would be a hole in one of the most popular markets today, instant messaging applications.
Talks to conduct began buying four or five weeks ago and, for now, it's getting WhatsApp difficult for the company's Mountain View since the price set for the operation is about 1,000 million dollars.
A few days ago a series of reports echoed the possibility that the Mountain View company to create its own instant messaging service under the name of Google Babble. With this application Google enter the market of instant messaging applications and compete against other applications such as Line or WeChat, among others.

Line has grown in a single year from zero to 12 million users or MessageMe that in just 12 days got a million users. Thus, it seems odd that Google wants to be able to compete with Whatsapp popular in this market and this way ensure success.
In addition, the application has a monetization scheme itself. The application has an annual fee of $ 0.99 (0.99 euros in Spain) a year after free trial.
But in Hong Kong 3HK operator customers pay $ 1.03 per month (0.79 euros) and can also use an international package that costs $ 6.18 (4.75 euros) per day.
